On May 24, 2026, the fourth meeting of the “Sztuką przez Intymność” workshop series took place, devoted to mindfulness in sexuality and intimacy. Its central theme was being present in contact with one’s own body, emotions and needs, and looking for ways to build a more conscious, kinder relationship with oneself.

During the psychological part, participants looked at what mindfulness means in the context of intimacy and sexuality, and why it matters to consciously experience one’s own emotions, sensations and boundaries. We talked about what helps us be present with ourselves and with another person, and about the factors that make intimacy harder to experience – such as haste, tension, social pressure, automatic thought patterns or fear of being judged.

An important element of the meeting was reflecting on pleasure understood more broadly than sexuality alone – as the ability to notice one’s own needs, sense the body’s signals and consciously experience everyday life. Participants had the opportunity to consider how a mindfulness practice can support greater self-acceptance, deepen the connection with one’s own body and strengthen the sense of safety in relationships.

The second part of the meeting was devoted to creative work. Through art, participants could express the emotions, reflections and experiences that had come up during the workshop part. The resulting works were personal interpretations of the meeting’s theme, showing diverse perspectives on connecting with one’s own body, boundaries, needs, sensuality and intimacy. The creative process was an opportunity to deepen self-reflection and to express things that are often hard to experience or describe in words.

The fourth meeting showed once again how combining psychoeducation with artistic activities helps build self-awareness, develop mindfulness and create a safe space to talk about important, rarely discussed aspects of life. We thank all the participants for their trust, openness and active participation in our shared process.
