Sztuką przez Intymność

A workshop series combining psychology, the body and art

“Sztuką przez Intymność” (“Through Art, Towards Intimacy”) is a workshop series for women who want to pause for a moment in the rush of everyday life and meet themselves more mindfully.

We combine psychological work, body awareness and creative expression in clay. In a safe, intimate setting, participants can explore their emotions, relationships and their own embodiment – without pressure, without judgment and without needing any previous artistic experience.

It is an invitation to a gentler relationship with yourself.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

In a world full of comparisons, pressure about appearance and expectations about our bodies, many people experience tension, shame or a sense of distance from their own body. The “Sztuką przez Intymność” project was created as a response to this reality.
Over ten meetings, participants:

  • explore their relationship with their body
  • develop a more supportive inner dialogue
  • learn to be mindful of their emotions and needs
  • experience creative expression through working with clay

Art in this project is not an end in itself – it is a tool for getting in touch with experiences that are often hard to put into words.

In this project, we understand intimacy broadly – as the ability to be in touch with your own experience, emotions and body.
It also means:

  • mindfulness of your own boundaries
  • curiosity about yourself
  • learn to be mindful of their emotions and needs
  • being able to be seen without being judged

By creating a shared workshop space, we want to support the experience that your relationship with your body can be gentler, more curious and more supportive.

WHY INTIMACY?

WHAT THE WORKSHOPS LOOK LIKE

Each meeting has two parts:

Psychoeducational part

Led by a psychologist and sexologist
It includes reflective work, somatic exercises, group discussion and tools that build self-acceptance and connection with the body.
Topics include:
- your relationship with your body
- self-worth
- boundaries and needs
- emotions stored in the body
- gentleness towards yourself

Creative part

Led by an artist working in a range of techniques

Participants create sculptural forms inspired by their experience of the body and emotions. Working with the material makes it possible to express what is often hard to name.

No artistic experience is required.

The workshops are for:

  • women interested in personal development
  • women looking for a safe space for reflection and creativity

No experience in creating works of art in the broadest sense is needed 😉
